Warranty & Return


Limited Warranty Policy

TimoLabs warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of TWELVE MONTHS (ONE YEAR) starting from the original date of consumer purchase. Unless otherwise specified, this warranty covers the hardware components of the Product as originally supplied and does not cover, or partially covers software, consumable items, or accessories even if packaged or sold together with the product.

During this period, TimoLabs will, at its option, either repair the defective product with new or rebuilt parts, or replace it with a new or rebuilt product at no charge except situations stated below. The parts or products that are replaced become the property of TimoLabs.

Please contact support@timolabs.com to obtain service under this limited warranty. Deliver the product freight pre-paid, along with:

  • Pack it in its original shipping container (or equivalent)
  • Insure it (or assume the risk of loss/damage during shipment)
  • Include proof of purchase
  • Include RMA form
  • Pay all shipping charges

ALL EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THIS PRODUCT (INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE LIMITED IN DURAION TO A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEARS FOR PARTS AND LABOR FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF CONSUMER PURCHASE. NO WARRANTIES (EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED) APPLY AFTER THIS PERIOD. IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. TIMOLABS OBLIGATIONS AND YOUR REMEDIES HEREUNDER ARE SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY AS STATES HERE. TIMOLABS LIABILITY, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHER THEORY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE INDIVIDUAL UNIT WHOSE DEFECT OR DAMAGE IS THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL TIMO BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OR FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT OR OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE. IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUNTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ALTHOUGH THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Limited Warranty Exclusions

TimoLabs is not responsible for damage to inbound product that was not properly packaged. TimoLabs will pay for the return shipment charges within the USA, but is NOT responsible for any costs shipping across international borders. If the unit is found not to be defective, the unit will be shipped back at the owner’s expense. This limited warranty does not cover any losses or damages that occur as a result of:

  • Improper packaging and shipping
  • Improper installation or maintenance
  • Misuse or improper use or abuse
  • Adjustment by non-authorized sources
  • Repair, modification, installation of options or parts by anyone other than an TimoLabs authorized service
  • Abnormal operating conditions – temperature, humidity, corrosive elements
  • Excessive or inadequate heating or air conditioning or electrical power failures, surges, or irregularities

Return Policy

TimoLabs products and accessories are made to the highest standards and undergo rigorous testing. If you are not satisfied with your TimoLabs product for any reason, you may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery. Once we approve your request and receive the product, we will give you a full refund minus shipping and handling fees incurred by the return process.

Return requests made outside of the 30-day period will not be accepted. We may also choose not to accept returns in the event of:

  • Defects or damages caused by misuse, neglect, physical damage, tampering, incorrect adjustment, normal wear and tear or incorrect installation after purchase.
  • Price fluctuations being the sole reason for return.
  • Customized customer contracts.

In all cases, we will inspect the product and verify the fault. To qualify for a replacement or refund, devices must be in "as new" condition and, if possible, with the original sealed packaging intact. Accessories must be sealed in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the product returned is deemed to have been damaged.

Please contact TimoLabs customer service support@timolabs.com to request a return. Without a verified return request, the returned package will be declined. Return requests cannot be cancelled once they have reached "shipped" status.

Once you've contacted TimoLabs customer service and requested a return:

  1. You will receive and be required to submit an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Print out the RMA form and place it inside of the shipping package you're returning.
  2. Include all items from your original shipment including devices, accessories, and documentation. All additional add-ons that sent with your package will be considered TimoLabs property and not be able to return back to you.
  3. Before returning any unit for service, be sure to back up your data. You are responsible for the personal information stored in your device - please erase all personal and sensitive data on the device before sending it to TimoLabs. TimoLabs will not be responsible for any disclosure of data still on the returned or serviced device.
  4. During service, data stored on the device may be deleted and reformatted. TimoLabs is not responsible for the loss of any software programs, data or other information contained in the product’s storage. Recovery and reinstallation of third party software programs, data and information are not covered under warranty.
